9.3.3 File Manager Text Editor  <<  >>  10 Payment Module Text file Character Encoding

Any text files uploaded to the file manager should be encoded using the UTF-8 character encoding. If the encoding differs from UTF-8, there might be problems viewing the special characters in the text files.

In Notepad, the text editor included in several Microsoft Windows operating systems, you can save text files to UTF-8 by selecting UTF-8 from the Encoding dropdown in the Save as dialog.

For other text editors consult their manuals on how to save files as UTF-8.
